About Us
Dear colleagues,
Welcome to the website of Indonesian Association of Sexology (IAS). This is our media to get information around the activities of IAS and Sexology in general. This is the media for all IAS members to keep communication, and also for all colleagues in all over the world who are interested in Sexology events in Indonesia. Even this is open for public who want to have information around sexuality from scientific side.
Since IAS was developed in the year 2000, Sexology has been growing fast in Indonesia. Many physicians, scientists, and other professionals become the members and actively participate in every scientific event we have organized. We have National Congress every 4 years, biennial scientific meeting, and national symposium every year. In conjunction with the 2nd National Congress in 2006 we also held the 1st International Symposium in Sexual Medicine.
It is our pleasure that most of the IAS members have passed the basic level of formal Intensive Education on Sexology, the only program of Sexology held by the Medical Faculty Udayana University. Some members have passed the advanced level of the program.
In today's era of information technology, communications become very simple and prompt, and website has very important role. By website information and knowledge can be transferred and reach all over the world. We are very sure this website will become a worthwhile media for IAS members and all colleagues as well.
In the year 2010 IAS and Asia Oceania Federation of Sexology (AOFS) will hold a Sexology Congress in Bali, the paradise island of Indonesia. Through this website all information related to the congress can be found.
We do hope IAS members will actively participate in this website for the development of our organization and Sexology.
